In 1994, grandma and her husband purchased a small company that makes an outdoor window washer that cleans the windows right through the screens. It cleans 15 outside windows in 15 minutes. In 2002, grandma decided the company needed other products to sell.  Being a good mother of five and a grandmother of 10 (some with sensitive or dry itchy skin, she has always been very good at developing new dishes.  She started researching the oils that soap is made from to find oils that are more compatible with human skin than oils found in commercially produced detergent soaps and gels that are available in stores. When she announced to grandpa she was going to start making soap to add to the product line he said SOAP! "Have you lost your mind" how much soap is on the market now. Then grandpa said, "do you know how to make soap?" Grandma said "no, but I didn't know how to cook either when we first got married 46 years ago. I can come up with the best soap you have ever used," and she did!

Grandma's Lye Soap was an instant success.  It sells so fast we struggled to keep up production. We get from 4 - 6 calls a day from people who won't bathe with anything else. Grandma is very pleased that her soap is helping so many people with skin problems.

In 2004, she added lotion she tries to come out with new products every year. Some of her latest hits are the Poison Ivy Bar with (jewelweed) it stops the itch immediately and her Acne Bar that shows great results in just 3 or 4 days.  All of her soaps are unlike any other soap on the market and are pure natural soaps with no chemical or detergent additives.
